‘Little Red Riding Hood’ was one of our core stories for ‘World Book Day’ where children had fun dressing up and doing role play using props such as red hoods, capes, baskets and puppets.
“Let me read it to everyone. Little Red Riding Hood.”
“Her mummy gave her a bowl of fruit.”
“Little Red Riding Hood was walking in the forest and the wolf was
hiding behind the forest.”
“The wolf snuck up behind her.”
“He’s got eyes. He’s got tail. He’s got nose.”
“The wolf put grandma in the cupboard.”
“What big teeth you’ve got.”
“All the better to eat your with.”
“She runned away.”
“You be the wolf and I’ll be the grandma.”
“I’ll pick some flowers for my grandma and then…”
“I’m grandma sleeping.”
“Very, very sleepy.”
“He bite grandma!”
