We all enjoyed a fantastic morning of sewing at Kintore Way Nursery today. This activity requires alot of focus and also helps to develop hand to eye coordination. Lots of thinking as well as lovely language coming through whilst doing sewing this morning.

“I put it through the hole. I do ‘X marks the spot,’ see. It ripped.”

“I sew a house. I thread it in and out with a needle and thread. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12. 12 stitches. I can write my name too!”
