The children learned about the different ways people celebrate during the Chinese Lunar New Year.They made steamed dumplings, a dragon and the children also learned a dragon dance. We read the story of Nian & had lots of fun making a big noise in the garden to scare Nian away.

It is traditional for families to clean their homes to welcome in the New Year. The children dusted, washed & swept the home-corner.
