To celebrate Christmas, children have been learning the Nativity Story. They’ve learnt about the birth of Baby Jesus and how Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus were visited by shepherds and the ‘Three Wise Men’ who brought gifts.
Christians believe that Jesus is the son of God who brought peace to the world. Children have also been writing letters to Santa, making salt dough decorations and decorating Christmas trees. They’ve really enjoyed singing festive songs particularly when with their families during our Christmas Singalong. Children were excited as they received fun presents from Santa who visited. They loved their Christmas parties with snacks kindly donated by parents.
